The Goodbye

Waving of the hand in a goodbye was not to be
Shawl's hand motion was stiff-
Acting as if it was in a slow motion.
The smile to broaden his cheeks were absent.
A thin mouth line was only seen when closest to.
He was parting. Where these the pains of leaving
While in self pity
or was he suffering from insomnia
Schizophrenia or hypersomia?
The face was pain printed like a refugee fleeing Somalia.
He couldn't be an abused child- he was grown up;
Otherwise he had traumas from the sight of Haitian earthquake
Viewed from his black and white TV Screen ,
Or hallowing floods in Brasilia,
More so murdered striking civil servants in Southern Africa.
